There’s plenty of room around the apartments, which makes this a nice spot for kids. The place itself is friendly and pleasant, up on an idyllic Austrian mountain near Vienna but far enough out to enjoy the quiet.

We had a great time, and the facilities were all good. The hosts were lovely, and she went beyond what she needed to do to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. It is a bit far out, and we had a few public transport problems, but I still recommend it.

This is a beautiful organic farm with lovely, genuine people and an amazing view. There’s also a small self-service hut where you can get eggs, noodles, and different kinds of flour.

We went to have a look, but the place was clearly closed. A woman was putting laundry out in the yard; she answered when we greeted her, then went straight back inside. Nobody else came out, so after waiting around for a while, we left. The whole visit felt oddly surreal. We cancelled our May reservation. It’s in the middle of nowhere, and it seems impossible to get any information before you actually stay there.

The rooms were spotless, and the farm is kept really clean and tidy. We stayed with our one-year-old son and felt very comfortable. The surrounding area is beautiful, and the morning bread rolls were delicious, definitely worth recommending. The breakfast eggs were Demeter quality too, which was a nice surprise. We were delighted with our stay and will probably come back for a holiday.
