Dormero SeHo Graz

A modern, clean hotel with spacious rooms, great for a short stay. It seems very pet-friendly, which is lovely to see. I also enjoyed the funny little texts dotted around.

We stayed on our way to Italy and found this a peaceful place to rest near Graz. The hotel is on the edge of the city, with a relaxing atmosphere and a lovely view of a pond right outside the window. The staff were welcoming and very friendly. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice and good quality. I'd definitely stay again on my next trip south.

Our standard double room seemed to have been upgraded: it was lovely, very clean, in light grey and deep blue, with a huge balcony and a beautiful view of a small pond and its tiny willow-tree "island". The bed was big and comfortable, and the bathroom was well laid out with a spacious shower and Prija oriental-ginger shampoo-shower gel that smelled so good I want to buy it. The staff made us feel welcome and took great care of the place. There were thoughtful extras at reception, like delicious donuts, fresh water and snacks and water for dogs. It's a dog-friendly hotel, and the staff were kind to our four-legged friends. There's a Hundezone about a 15-minute walk away, search for "Hundewiese". Breakfast is a buffet from 7 to 10.30 and costs 18.90 eur per person. We found it very good, with pancakes, scrambled eggs, lots of cheese, ham, small sausages, jams, fruit, yoghurt, bread, cakes, coffee and juices. The hotel is about 15 minutes by car from Graz. Super recommended!

I don't usually spend my free time leaving Google reviews, but after one night here a few days ago, I had to say how good it was. The reception lady was kind and helpful, and made the place feel like home. Even after checkout, I could work for an hour in the quiet "lobby-around" area, with free coffee and cake, which you don't often get in hotels. My room was spacious, clean and recently renovated, and the minibar drinks were free. The gym was small and modest, but enough for a solid workout. The neighbourhood is beautiful too. I'll definitely be back next year. I definitely recommend it.
