We really liked the space for toiletries in the bathroom. The sink was large, and there was plenty of room in the drawers and medicine cabinet. We’ve stayed in too many places with hardly any bathroom storage, so it’s the little things! Our two-bedroom apartment was comfortable and spacious, with a well-stocked kitchen. There’s also a ping pong table, foosball, and a lounge with games. We used the new sauna too, a lovely way to end the day. In Austria, people may be nude or wrapped in a towel, though some wear bathing suits. Everyone needs a towel to sit on, so no part of your body goes directly on the wood, even in a swimsuit. The location worked well for getting to several ski areas. Both ski bus stops are next to the hotel: H2 from Bichl Oberdorf to Horbergbahn for Mayrhofen, and Bus 7 from Bichl Brücke to Karspitzbahn and Rosenalmbahn for Zillertal Arena. For Hintertux Glacier, we took Mayrhofen buses H2 and C (or D) to the train station, then the Green Line bus. We preferred that to driving up the mountain road. Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach was about a 15-minute drive through the valley, and we parked in a covered garage there. The hotel also has indoor parking. Two grocery stores, MPREIS and ADEG, are within a 5-minute drive, and ADEG is open Sundays. In our opinion, having a car is best here. There’s no front desk, but the hotel responds promptly by email or WhatsApp. We’d definitely stay again.

The apartments have everything for cooking and cleaning, including utensils, cleaning supplies, salt and pepper, plus a kettle, nespresso, Air fryer, microwave and fridge. The sauna is very good. A hot tub would have completed the setup.

With a bus stop just around the corner and Bichl train station about a 5-minute walk away, it was easy for our family to explore the Zillertal. The apartment was a wonderful place for our multigenerational summer holiday. Our three-bedroom unit had an exceptional balcony view, we all slept well, and the hosts replied quickly when we had questions.

The apartment itself is nice, with great furniture and everything needed for a comfortable stay. Its spot in the Zillertal Valley is convenient, close to shops, restaurants and lovely villages. But the hospitality wasn’t good, and I wouldn’t stay here again. I was charged 50 euros when I asked to have the apartment cleaned, including sheet changes. The owner said the floors and bathrooms would be cleaned and the sheets changed. When I returned, the sheets were clean, but the bathrooms hadn’t been properly cleaned and the kitchen was still dirty. Towels also cost extra to change, nothing additional is free. The bin in the waste room hadn’t been emptied or sorted, and garbage filled the room, including the floor. They should review their policies and offer a cleaning service for guests’ comfort.

The apartment was clean, cozy and equipped with everything we needed. It’s in the heart of the Zillertal valley, with all the ski centers close by. A very nice place, and I’d recommend it to everyone.
