Am Neutor Hotel Salzburg Zentrum

The breakfast was superb, and the receptionist was very helpful when we arrived and checked out. I love this town, and even though the hotel is right in the city center, the room was quiet. At night, some light came through because the curtains don't close all the way, so the room stayed quite lit up. Parking depends on how many rooms are available at the hotel, and you'll get a parking ticket before you can park.

The rooms were clean, but they have no air system. The only airflow comes from a noisy standing fan. Staff were unfriendly and not accommodating; often nobody was at the desk, and the self check-in machine didn't work for us. I asked for an extra pillow because they leave only one flat pillow, but was told they couldn't help. It's a lovely town, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel. I'm sure you can find somewhere in the same price range with friendlier staff and a clean room. Save your money and go elsewhere.

The place was clean and centrally located, but the stay felt more like a motel and cost far too much. We paid $360 for two nights and got no food, tiny dated rooms, no AC despite it being 32°C outside, and parking that cost extra.

We liked how close the hotel was to the main shopping area and tourist spots, just a short walk away. The room itself was basic and dated, with painfully slow Wi-Fi, no mini fridge, a tiny bathroom, and a fan that didn’t work in an already very warm room. The receptionist seemed annoyed when checking us in and answering questions. Room service also came in before 9:30 am while we were still getting up, even though checkout wasn’t until 10 and we weren’t leaving that day. They didn’t return to replace towels or anything else. We wouldn’t stay here again.
