The hairdryer, decent shampoo, and shower gel were provided, and one staff member quickly brought extra towels and a pillow despite being alone at the front desk. But breakfast was limited, and items often ran out. On 5 Dec 2025, a breakfast server was extremely rude and yelled at me when I took serviettes from the side table, even after I explained another server had spilled juice on me. There’s no in-room phone, so requests for towels or toilet rolls mean going down to reception. No kettle or hot water dispenser either, just one kettle at the front desk. There’s no gym, sauna, or pool. I also found cobwebs on the ceiling of a room on Level 3.

The automatic bathroom lights were a problem for us. They also turn on the light beside the bathroom, and the transparent window between the bathroom and room makes everything too bright if you’re sharing. I asked how to turn the system off but couldn’t get an answer. The AC didn’t seem to work during our stay, though it wasn’t too hot outside, so we didn’t mind much. I’d also have liked a kettle, tea, and water in the room. From the outside the hotel looks a bit old, but the rooms are quite new and clean, and it seems they’re making upgrades. The booking site didn’t mention the loud noise coming from the windows in the morning. It shouldn’t matter if you’re out during the day.

The room was spacious and the temperature was comfortable, but the slow wifi and lack of a kettle or coffee in the room were disappointing. The other five hotels on our guided Europe tour outside Austria all had kettles. The bathroom layout was good, though there were no hooks for bath towels. Breakfast was below average, with few choices in a small, crowded area full of tour groups. The bread was warm but had little aroma, and there was no bacon or sausage. One small lift serves each wing. This was the seventh hotel of our tour.

The rooms are new and the place feels peaceful. Here is the wifi.
