Haus Brandeck

The apartment was quiet and comfortable, with a wonderful view. The kitchen was well equipped, the living area had carpet, and although the bathroom was small, it had plenty of hot water and towels. Downstairs there's an activity room with comfy sofas, a pool table, table tennis, and more for an evening indoors. We were five minutes late, and the host made sure to point it out in a rude tone when handing over the key. Laundry costs €8 each time, so I wouldn't recommend doing it here. We were travelling with our four-month-old and decided after the first night that a crib would be more comfortable. I remembered it being listed as a free amenity, but when I asked, I was told it would cost €15 per night. That seemed totally absurd!

That play room downstairs was a big hit with us, and there's plenty of parking too. We loved the area, with fun things to do within 30km, and the balcony has a stunning view. The neighbour's cat is very cute as well. The apartment is spacious, and the kitchen has everything we needed. Whenever we had a question, the owners were easy to reach by message or at reception. We arrived late because of the awful weather, but stayed in touch with Britt and check-in went smoothly. Britt made the whole stay so enjoyable. We'll definitely come back! One small note for anyone who tends to feel cold: with gas and electricity prices so crazy, the rooms stay around 19 to 21 degrees. I don't necessarily see that as a downside, but bring an extra layer and some pyjamas.

We loved spending four nights in Uttendorf, such a lovely Austrian village with peaceful surroundings and mountains in every direction. The apartment felt luxurious to us, and the balcony gets afternoon sun. Britt and Chris were working hard to get ready for ski season.

The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed, in a beautiful spot in Uttendorf. The owners were great too. We'll be back :)
