Harry’s Xl Hotel

Our stay was quiet and really enjoyable, and the staff at check-in were lovely. We arrived early, and they let us leave our bags. Although housekeeping usually isn’t provided for stays shorter than three nights, they still changed our towels and bed sheets. The hotel is close to the main bus and train stations, plus plenty of food spots and a shop. It was easy to get into central Salzburg, and they gave us a free transport pass, which was a nice touch. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The staff were so nice. The new receptionist, whose name I didn’t catch, was especially kind and helpful. The rooms are fine for a short trip, with a comfortable bed and a great TV. The heating was much too hot, and I couldn’t get the air conditioning to work. The fourth floor smelled a bit strange, and breakfast felt like a rip-off. You’re better off going to a local bakery. Still, it was fine overall.

The spacious, well-equipped room was fantastic, and breakfast was beautifully done. The staff especially helped make our stay memorable. We had a wonderful time and would recommend Harry’s Home Hotel to anyone visiting Salzburg.

The bus connections were a real plus: bus number 5 stops right outside, and the hotel is also near buses to Wolfgangsee and Berchtesgaden. The free city bus pass Salzburg provided during our stay covered the trip to Wolfgangsee as well, and made getting around town easy and saved us quite a bit. A supermarket and local shops are within an easy walk of the hotel, which is very close to the train station. We spent three nights at Harry's Hotel during our Austria trip. Booking was straightforward, and breakfast was included. Our room was large, clean, and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was hearty, with two hot dishes, cold meats, pickles, fresh breads and croissants, cereal, and drinks. The staff were helpful. We couldn’t find an Austrian one-euro coin with Mozart on it as a souvenir, but a manager found two for us. Thank you. Staying at Harry's Hotel made our time in Salzburg even more magical. I highly recommend it.
