Hotel Rosenvilla

The front desk agents were superb and helpful with every detail. They gave us a voucher bus pass for getting around Salzburg, and can arrange a taxi to pick you up or drop you off at the train station, which was useful since Ubers haven't been as reliable in my experience. The hotel is well lit and felt safe at night. I'd stay again. I really enjoyed my September stay at this nice, up to date boutique hotel. It takes about 10 minutes by bus to reach the train station. There is no elevator, but they bring your luggage up to the room. My single room was up to date with everything, though the bathroom was smaller than I like but still doable. Breakfast had a very nice spread and plenty of choice.

Service stood out most. The team really seemed to care about making guests happy and well looked after. Thanks to manager Christopher and his team for accommodating my request and giving me the room I'd asked for. Breakfast was lovely as always, and Rosenvilla will be my first choice if I return to Salzburg. I stayed two nights in October 2025. The recent renovation gives the reception and breakfast room a fresh, modern look. I also noticed the new air conditioning in the rooms, a great addition. There's a lot to like about this charming little hotel.

The rooms were spacious with comfy beds, and the gardens are gorgeous. The hotel felt luxurious while still having the warmth of a bed and breakfast. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Kenso helped us get bus passes and restaurant reservations, and offered advice on sights to see. It's in a lovely residential neighborhood, just a quick walk to Old Town. Breakfast was outstanding, with cheeses, meats, eggs, fresh bread, fruit, and homemade cakes and pastries. We'd highly recommend Hotel Rosenvilla!

The room itself was beautiful, though the low ceiling had me bumping my head three times. That's still 5 stars for the room. The staff are amazing and make you feel at home. It's a boutique hotel rather than a big commercial operation, and you can help yourself to coffee and tea any time of day, then relax in their courtyard. The tourist areas are about a 20 minute walk away, and there's also a local bus. I'd stay here again.
