The staff at Hotel Wolf-Dietrich were incredibly kind and accommodating between 4:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. during a stressful morning. When my son discovered his passport missing before our 4:00 a.m. departure, they immediately called the American Embassy, which was closed, and then the police station to try to help. My son and I had to miss our flight. When we returned around 6am, they let me use my room until 11:00 a.m. even though I’d checked out, and helped me complete and print the paperwork for an emergency passport. We later traveled to Vienna to visit the American Consulate. By an unexpected turn, the tour company found my son’s passport the next day and emailed the Consulate while we were at the counter. The consulate staff recognized his name, and we were able to go back to Salzburg to retrieve it. We spent three nights at Hotel Wolf-Dietrich from January 4-7 while visiting Salzburg. The location is ideal, and the family room in the residence was spacious, comfortable, and well laid out for our four adult children. Thank you to everyone there. You went above and beyond. I’d absolutely recommend staying here and would gladly return.

Breakfast was small but excellent, with everything you could wish for, and the breakfast room was lovely and tastefully decorated. This is a charming little hotel in Salzburg's old town. Receptionist Mr. Jürgen gave us a warm welcome, explained everything clearly, and shared recommendations. The staff were all very friendly.

The family who runs the hotel were so nice and helpful. They suggested great restaurants and helped us find our way to the sights. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location made it easy to walk to fantastic restaurants and shopping. We’d absolutely stay here again. Thanks for a great weekend.

Our room was very comfortable, and the staff were attentive and helpful. Breakfast was beautifully laid out, with a great variety of fruit, pastries, cheeses, and more. It’s a beautiful hotel in a great location, and I highly recommend the Wolf Hotel.

The breakfast was incredible, and the breakfast staff were dressed in traditional outerwear. The staff were so nice, and everything was clean and lovely. The rooms honor the hotel's 500 year tradition while still feeling modern. You’re right in the center of all that’s wonderful, literally 35 m from the Mozart statue. Danke fur alles !
