Muffin Hostel

The hostel has a nice quiet bar, and the rooms and communal toilets were clean. Beds were comfortable too, though there might not be enough toilets. The Polish staff were lovely, smiley, and welcoming. It's a 15-20 minute walk from the old town. That was fine for me, but it could feel far when you're tired or drunk and heading back at night. We paid 28€ for a bed in a four-bed room, which felt expensive for a hostel, especially compared with around 15€ for similar things in other European cities. Breakfast at 7€ also seemed pricey. There's a communal kitchen, so bringing your own food can save money.

Loved the relaxed atmosphere, the bar, and all the spots to sit and chill. Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially the two Polish girls. The bus stop is just a few minutes away, or you can walk to the center in 20 minutes. I'm coming back!!

A basic hostel that does the job if you just need a bed. It's clean, quiet, and has a nice common area. Getting to the center takes a long walk, or you can catch the one bus that comes about every 45 minutes. Staff are happy to arrange a taxi. The room key policy was the reason for my three stars. You have to leave your key with staff whenever you go out, but my room had only three keys for four people. Staff said one had been "lost" recently.

You have to make your own bed every day, which is a first for me at a hostel. There's no phone to call reception, and towels aren't provided unless you ask. When we did, they gave us a dirty shower towel. We asked them to change the pillows and blankets because they smelled bad. They said they had, but the smell was still there. Don't stay here.
