The hosts were really kind, and the rooms were clean, peaceful, and well equipped. It’s a perfect choice for getting into town: the bus stop is two minutes away, and the ride to the city center takes about 20 minutes. If I return to Salzburg, I’ll stay here again.

After a day out in the sun, the outdoor pool was a lovely way to cool off. Sitting beside it and looking out at the Alpine scenery is something I won’t forget. The countryside setting is peaceful, with spectacular mountain views, yet the city center is only a short bus ride away. Public transport is easy to reach, and the stop is within walking distance. The hosts were genuinely warm and attentive throughout our stay. I slept especially well in the comfortable bed after days of exploring, and breakfast was fresh, delicious, and had lots of options. I had a wonderful time at Haus am Moos and would warmly recommend it to anyone visiting Salzburg. I hope to return!

We really enjoyed the owners’ personal attention. They welcomed us warmly, shared useful tips for getting into and around town, and checked in with guests at the tables to ask how their stays were going. Breakfast was very nice and worth having, and the open pool was an unexpected bonus. The room was very clean and had a great mountain view. The whole place felt cosy and clean. It’s in a fantastic area, about 15 minutes from the center by easy bus ride. If the weather’s good and you’re feeling adventurous, you can walk there in a little over an hour through some nice scenery.

The mountain view across the valley was lovely, and there are supermarkets and a restaurant within a couple of kilometres. It’s set back from the main highway, with plenty of private parking and a bus stop nearby for a direct ride into Salzburg centre. The rooms are clean and good quality, and breakfast felt like something from a five-star hotel, with lots of indoor seating and a sheltered garden area outside. There’s also a well-equipped shared kitchenette with a fridge for making drinks and snacks, which isn’t advertised but is really handy. The owners and staff are friendly, they speak English, and the WiFi is free and very fast. It’s popular, so book early.
