One Apartment

The balcony was a nice place to relax, with a table, two chairs and a good view. The large closet gave us plenty of storage, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and I liked that the glass sliding door to the balcony could work as a window too. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped for my needs. I stayed four nights in early September. A few things were disappointing. There's no central air, just a small fan, and neither the kitchen nor bathroom has an exhaust fan. The small fridge was set low when we arrived and took ages to cool down. The shower is nice but awkwardly positioned, so you have to stand a certain way to keep water from going everywhere. Around 20-25 steps lead up to the entrance, so it isn't mobility friendly, though they're well lit at night. There are lots of TV stations, but only four or five in English, including MTV, a couple of Sky News channels and CNN. The renters were very responsive to our emails. The bus stop is a couple of minutes away, and the ride to central Salzburg takes about 15-20 minutes. Billa is a handy grocery store around a 10-minute walk away, with the bus stopping right in front in both directions.
