The room’s size and quality were okay for the price, and the location is truly stunning. But the stay was spoiled from the start by how cold and rude the staff were, especially one comment from the manager. Check-in began normally. Then the manager arrived, saw we were British, and said, supposedly as a joke, “you're British? I hope you don't behave like the last group we had. They just got drunk and aggressive every night. They were horrible”. He followed it with a wink and, “they were horrible but, honestly, I still prefer them to the blacks”. The remark was horrific in itself. My wife is Black and has albinism, and had to hear that blatant racist comment, delivered with a wink. After all that, I was still looking forward to trying the hotel’s pinotage, but it was an even bigger disappointment than the service.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with lots of fresh fruit as well as eggs and pastries. Our third-floor room had a super view, and the accommodation was perfect. The hosts were very considerate, and the location made it extremely convenient for the cable cars, restaurants, and station. We had a lovely stay in St Anton. Thanks again.

Breakfast was a treat, especially the top-quality eggs and bacon, and the staff were excellent. Hannes and Antonella are wonderful hosts who really care about making your visit a good one. It’s a superb family hotel in a great spot at the top end of town, opposite the ski gondolas. We’ve already booked a return visit.

We found the hotel through the st. Anton tourist board website. Being able to book online for 100 euro in August made the choice easy, since many places in Austria still require a phone call or email. It was our first time in St. Anton, on a drive through Europe from Lyon to Vienna. The room was spotless, and the hotel is right in the town center with free underground parking. Breakfast starts at 7:30 and has options for most people. We had fried and boiled eggs, bread, pastries, yoghurt, their own carrot juice, and coffee. A lovely place, and we’ll definitely try to stay again.

Staying at Hannes and Antonella's aparthotel feels almost like being at home. We’re privileged to spend a few days here every year. The facilities, the service, and the people who look after us are all so good.
