The owners made us feel so welcome, and their advice on where to eat in the evenings was really helpful. We had a wonderful week of skiing over new year 2025/26 with my young adult children, and all of us enjoyed the stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable and practical, with a traditional pine feel inside a fairly modern building. There was a good breakfast selection, including a different cooked option each morning. Nassereinbahn is a 15-minute walk away, and there’s a regular bus too. The town centre is a bit of a walk, though that didn’t bother us much. Plenty of good places to eat nearby, but book ahead if you’re visiting in a busy week. Parking in front of the building was handy, and we drove to Zurs and other nearby villages. If you want a B&B-style hotel just outside the centre, this is a good choice.

The hosts were friendly, the breakfast was fantastic, and the rooms were clean and great. It’s a fabulous guesthouse. The nearest ski lift is about a five-minute walk away, or there’s a ski bus every 15 minutes right outside.

We’ve just had a fantastic week at Garni Bacherhof in St. Anton. The hosts were generous and incredibly kind, and they really go out of their way to make you feel at home. Service was outstanding and the food was delicious. It has a warm, welcoming feel, just right for unwinding after skiing. Highly recommend, and I can’t wait to come back!

We chose an apartment on our second visit, after staying in a hotel room the first time, and it was beautifully clean, well equipped, and had excellent Wi-Fi and a TV. The things we liked before still hold: the owners are charming and very helpful, and breakfast has a great selection, including eggs and dairy from their farm. The hotel is just outside town, with a bus stop right beside it; buses run every 15 minutes to all the lifts. Highly recommend.

The Strolz family made this my most enjoyable hotel stay across roughly ten ski trips to the Austrian Alps. They were warm, wonderful hosts and kept finding ways to make us comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with a different fresh egg dish each day that had us wishing for a Strolz family cookbook. The hotel was very clean and quiet at night. A bus to St Anton stops right nearby, or you can walk there, and Tenne is close for a good dinner if you don't want to go far. Thanks again from Lucy and Alex!
