The Strolz family gave us such a warm welcome and were very kind throughout our 10-day stay with our sons, starting 16 January 2025. Apartment 5 had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with comfortable beds, linen and duvets, plus good heating and hot water. It was a good size too. Ferienhaus am Eggli is in quiet St. Jakob - Gand, close to everything. Free ski-bus number 2 stops 70 metres away and goes to the Nassereinbahn gondola lift, so we didn’t need the car except for a supermarket trip, about 5' by car. There’s ski storage with a boot warmer by the entrance, and Mrs. Strolz also provides boot and ski storage at Alber Sport, at the bottom of the gondola lift at Nassereinbahn. The sauna, shower and relaxation area are on the ground floor and can be switched on request to Mrs Strolz. We had an excellent experience and would definitely return. Photos of the terrace view.

We felt very at home at this lovely holiday house at Eggli in Austria. It was spotless and well cared for, and such a relaxing place. The staff were really helpful and friendly, and having the ski area nearby made the stay just right. We’d love to come back.

Julian, the caretaker at FH Eggli, deserves a special mention for looking after guests so well. The owners are lovely too. The place feels like home, and the price for what you get is excellent. It’s a peaceful spot up in the mountains, with breathtaking views over St. Anton. In winter there are some of Europe’s best slopes nearby. Highly recommended. 👍
