We started out planning to have just a few drinks, but stayed for dinner and were glad we did. The staff managed our last-minute request even on a very busy night, and every dish we tried was great. The chicken sandwich, served in bite-sized pieces, may have been the best we’ve ever had. We sat outside while the sun was out because the view from the hotel deck is outstanding. The staff kept checking in and made sure we had what we needed. There’s an exceptional wine list by the glass and bottle, plus lots of cocktail options. Hope to be back soon!

We all enjoyed trying the food, and the chef even came over to our table. Victoria, Jakob, Magdalena and Tom were amazing and went out of their way for us. We were visiting for dinner as outside guests, two adults and children aged seven and nine. The kids had a lovely time amusing themselves in the library with chess and snooker, and we all played snooker afterwards. It’s small and charming, with a calm atmosphere, tasteful design and a great vibe. Not to be missed!

They’ve made lovely use of materials from the previous 34-room hotel in the remodel, and the result is incredibly tasteful. With just seven rooms, an incredible spa and service unlike anything we’ve experienced at luxury hotels around the world, we can’t wait to return.

We were initially unsure about bringing our three dogs, since there are so few pet-friendly hotels with this level of service. The staff went above and beyond to make them feel at home, and even have their own hotel dog, "Heidi", who is wonderful! The hotel is stunning, with just seven rooms, an incredible spa and food options worthy of Michelin stars. Every member of staff was gracious, organised and focused on service. This was one of the best stays of our lives. We can’t wait to visit Hotel Tannenhof again, and have been recommending it to friends and family planning a stay in the area. Thank you to the whole team!

The room and spa were exceptional, and the service was unmatched. Every person at Tannenhof was warm, friendly and helpful, easily five stars out of five. We’ve stayed at a lot of five-star hotels, but this was our best hotel experience. We can’t wait to come back.
