The wellness area is small but really nice, with a pool, sauna, and steam room, and our child loved the well-equipped playroom. We had a wonderful stay at Familienhotel Berger in St. Jakob im Walde and would highly recommend it, especially to families or anyone with special dietary needs. Gluten-free food mattered most to us, and the hotel went beyond what we expected. The kitchen knows how to prepare it, and the waiters were well informed and confident about gluten-free options. They made gluten-free Palatschinken, Kaiserschmarrn, and lots of other dishes. Our room was comfortable, very clean, and well maintained. The hotel is also only about a 2-minute walk from the ski area and ski school, which made things much easier with children. The atmosphere was cozy, the staff attentive, and the food awareness was great. We'd happily return.

We stayed in a family room with plenty of space for all four of us. It was comfortable and worked perfectly for a family. The food and drinks were excellent, with authentic Austrian flavors, and everyone on staff was friendly and welcoming. This was our second year in a row here, and my 2-year-old daughter absolutely loves the place. There's lots for children to do, including pony rides, which were a big hit. We're already thinking about a third visit!

The location is beautiful, and we really enjoyed our time at Landhotel Berger. It's great for children, and the staff are very friendly and approachable. Highly recommended.

The staff and owners are so friendly and helpful. It's a fantastic family hotel and an ideal place for our little ones to get started with skiing. We’re looking forward to our next stay at the Berger Family Hotel. Best regards, the Benold family
