The breakfast is thoughtfully put together, and the location is handy, in the second row by the lake with a beach nearby. The staff are friendly and ready to help, though booking and room assignments can sometimes be poorly organized. The guesthouse is quite old and could use some renovation. For the price, it’s okay.

Anna-Maria and Christian run two houses for overnight stays, and they’re both really lovely. They’re very helpful whenever you run into a problem. The guesthouse itself is small, with cozy, clean rooms. Breakfast doesn’t have a huge selection, but it includes what you need, with regional, high-quality products. Lake Klopein and the guesthouse’s private beach are just a short distance away. Some sun loungers are free, while others cost a small fee. The details are all available online.

Breakfast had everything we could want, from rolls and dark bread to coffee, tea, juice, cold cuts, cheese, fruit, muesli, and jam. The breakfast staff were always helpful, and there’s even a small fridge where you can keep your own things. Our room was clean, and having a balcony and parking right outside the door was a real bonus. Lake Klopein beach is just a five-minute walk away, and guests can use it for free with special bathing passes. We really enjoyed our stay at the guesthouse.

The rooms are clean, and breakfast is plentiful, but this is a very old-fashioned guesthouse. There are too many carpets, so I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone allergic to house dust.
