A lovely place on Wolfgangsee, with access to its own private beach.

We've been here three times now, and stayed in the garden house on our second visit. The landlord is lovely. The garden house has a somewhat limited lake view, though the apartments in the main building have a fantastic one. There is a private swimming area and a large playground for kids, and you can borrow SUPs and other watercraft for free. The town is just a short walk away, and nearby excursions are easy to reach on foot or by car, including the Schafberg cable car and boat trips.

We stayed with the Leifer family, booking the two-bedroom "Lifestyle Apartment" and the one-bedroom "Gardenhouse". Both were spotless, with comfortable mattresses and kitchens that had everything needed for cooking: a toaster, kettle, Eduscho capsule coffee machine, salt, pepper, toothpicks, dishwasher tablets and detergent, and tea towels. The Lifestyle Apartment doesn't have an oven, but the other one does. It was very quiet, and we could sleep with the windows open. There are plenty of parking spaces. Ms. Leifer was easy to reach on WhatsApp and quickly arranged a few things we needed.

The hosts were very friendly, and the apartments are beautiful. Perfectly located right by the lake, with their own private swimming area.
