We were really happy with our stay. It’s a lovely place.

We could make use of the well-equipped kitchen, and even had ground coffee there, since no service was provided. I also took off a star because collecting the key and paying meant a 2 km trip. Payment was in cash at their hotel, though I had paid with Visa lei in Romanian. That was only for their security in case you refused, and nothing was held on the card.

The usable space in the converted attic is only about 10 square metres. It’s advertised as dog-friendly, but you have to carry your dog up the steep spiral stairs because he can’t climb them. There’s no option to rate it lower, unfortunately.

It was clean and quiet, though a bit out of the way. There’s no breakfast.

The hosts were unfriendly, and the place was dirty. I wouldn’t stay again.
