Bergfunken Apartments

The landlords were very friendly, and the apartment was lovely. It’s quiet there while still being central. If you forget your key, they help straight away, which was very kind. Five out of five stars.

The apartment was bright, with lots of windows, and the Pusteblume apartment had a beautiful view. It was quiet and central, about 5-7 minutes from the train station and city centre. The box-spring bed was very comfortable, the furnishings were new, and there was a washing machine and dryer. The host was easy to reach by email or phone and very friendly and accommodating. There were quite a few things missing or lacking: more towel hooks, a soap dish by the sink and shower, more bathroom shelves, and a toilet paper holder or dispenser. The large drawer in the vanity was broken. There were no bedside tables or reading light, and nowhere to hang wet bath towels. The kitchen could use a small knife for chopping and more than two cups. The curtains were very thin, with no blackout blinds. The balcony had no seating or side table, and there were no pictures or decorations anywhere, so the apartment felt functional rather than cosy. The furnishings generally seemed quite cheap, and we didn’t feel the nightly price reflected the amenities, though Seefeld is generally expensive. For arrival, departure, and key handover, you use a combination lock to collect the key and return it at checkout. That makes arrival possible at any time, but it feels impersonal. There isn’t a contact person in person, though one may be available by phone or email.

Charming and small, with a recent renovation. The location is central and quiet, with buses nearby. Highly recommended.
