Schuistlhof

The farm sits high up in the mountains, so in winter you’ll want a properly equipped vehicle. We had everything we needed for a weekend in the apartment, and the family and their beautiful farm made for a lovely stay.

The balcony is a lovely place to unwind after a full day, especially with the sunset over the Almtal valley. Schuistlhof sits high up, but the views are stunning, and the hosts are very friendly. Barbecue evenings sound wonderful, too. I first noticed the place while hiking. Parking in the courtyard is easy, and in winter it’s close to the ski slopes and towards Turnthaler. The rooms were spotless and had what we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were really friendly and helpful, and the natural setting made each day feel special. We had a relaxing holiday at Schuistlhof and will definitely return.

My wife and I paraglide, and with the launch site right outside, we both got plenty out of the stay. Our young son found lots to explore and felt at home straight away. The apartment is spacious, tastefully furnished, and so clean that anyone looking for dust or lint will come up empty. The farm is beautiful, with an idyllic setting and an unbeatable view. The hosts are warm and helpful. It’s a lovely place to relax away from everyday bustle, and we’d love to come back.
