Gasthof Felsenstberl

The spa facilities have everything you could want after skiing and are perfectly adequate. Breakfast and dinner were truly excellent, with everything you could need at breakfast. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. I highly recommend it and would definitely come back.

The welcome was so warm that we felt at home right away. Gasthof Felsenstüberl is right on the slopes, which made the skiing especially easy. We had a wonderful holiday and would happily return.

Families would find this a great ski-in, ski-out spot, with the slopes so close by. We also really enjoyed the five-course dinner and the lovely service.

The apartment itself was new, spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the owners were kind. Getting there was a bit awkward because it sits at the top of a steep hill. We also appreciated how clean the rooms were. Still, the way some things were handled left us disappointed. We had booked a triple room with half board, but on arrival the owner offered us an apartment for the same price. We accepted, then only after settling in were told we had to eat at Bergzauber restaurant instead of the hotel. For four nights, the only option was a set menu with meat dishes and no choice. We aren't strict vegetarians, but would have liked healthier options than the usual fried cutlets and cordon bleu. From the fourth night, we cooked in the apartment instead. At checkout, we were charged €80 for using the kitchen twice, something no one had mentioned beforehand. It felt like a rip-off. Breakfast had limited options, just one kind of dessert, and nothing was replaced when it ran out. The bread wasn't always fresh that day. The frozen omelettes, though, were superb!
