We were there for five nights, and the location was a real plus, about a five-minute walk from the Giggijoch gondola station. The rooms were clean and spacious, service was good, and the price felt fair. The rooms do seem overdue for a refresh, though, and the beds and pillows could be more comfortable. Breakfast covered the basics, including dairy and healthy options, but there wasn’t much variety. We handled the booking and most communication through Otztal tourist info, possibly because of a language barrier. That probably wouldn’t be an issue for German speakers.

The breakfast was good, and the location worked well. The staff were nice, though they don’t speak English, which may be a problem. The bathrooms have neither windows nor vents, so there’s no way to air them out. They also don’t accept credit cards. I’m not sure the stay was worth the money.

The breakfast was generous and tasty, and the reception staff were really friendly. Pension Eden in Sölden is also ideally placed, just a few minutes on foot from the Giggijoch valley station. Our room had plenty of space and a balcony. The furniture was a little dated, but everything was clean and looked after. We had a great stay and would recommend it.
