The new spa and pool complex is amazing, and the kids’ playroom is safe and full of things to do. There’s also a lovely little zoo to keep them occupied. The ski and boot room has been refurbished and is excellent, while the weights gym, 70 m away, is modern and well equipped. We thought our last stay here was very good, but this one was even better. Lovely staff, delicious food, great facilities. Thanks for such an amazing holiday. Hope to come back soon.

We were really disappointed with what we got for the price. Only a few rooms are well furnished, while others haven’t been renovated, and the website and promotions are very misleading. Everything outside is squeezed into one small garden. The location is good, though it’s in a little village full of hotels. This place is mostly a kids’ club and children’s hotel, so it doesn’t suit families with older children.

The mountain view is amazing, the garden is beautiful, and the accommodations are spacious. I’m giving three stars because the food was a letdown. I’m vegan, so this part may not matter to everyone, but food is a big part of hospitality and a four-star hotel should be able to offer at least one proper vegan dish. I wasn’t asking for a range of choices, just one balanced meal. The kitchen did try to accommodate me, and the staff were friendly, but the meals were never nutritionally balanced. Usually I got a carbohydrate such as gnocchi, potatoes, bread, or rice with a simple sauce or vegetables. Beans at the salad buffet were the only protein I could find. I was hungry through most of the stay because meals without enough protein don’t keep me full for long. A satisfying vegan meal with enough protein shouldn’t require hard-to-find ingredients or special effort these days. It felt like vegan food was an afterthought compared with what they served omnivores, something that technically counted as vegan but wasn’t satisfying. That was disappointing. I don’t think it was a lack of care for a vegan guest, but the kitchen couldn’t provide a healthy, filling vegan meal.

We had a great time, and I’m grateful to the whole team, from reception to the chef. Maurice gave us a warm welcome and an upgraded, spacious suite with a lovely view of Lichtenstein Gorge. Hubert shared helpful ideas for visiting the area, Andreea was kind and helpful, and Hans gave us a nice gift at checkout. The restaurant team was well prepared and clearly well intentioned. The food was fresh and tasty, breakfast was perfect, and the pool, sauna, and recreation facilities all worked well. This is a family-friendly hotel, so it isn’t ultra quiet. There’s also a noisy construction area 50 m away, which can be annoying, though not too much. Bees kept finding their way into our room during our stay, more than 20 of them, and I’d suggest more attention to dust when cleaning the rooms. There’s a large free car park below the hotel, so we didn’t have to worry about the car. Two elevators provide easy access to the rooms, reception, and sauna, including for someone in a wheelchair. The hotel has a traditional Austrian look. Kids have a large playroom supervised by a hotel staff member, plus outdoor slides, swings, animal spotting, and a sand area. Adults can relax on sun loungers by the outdoor pool. Thanks again for everything.
