Gasthof & Appartement Drei Türme

We were a three-generation family, and the apartment had far more than we expected. We’d packed lots of things in case they weren’t provided, but hardly needed those extras. Top 9 looked even better in person than in the photos. The sparkling wine and pretzels waiting for us were a lovely welcome. There was plenty in the kitchen for everyday meals, along with extra cookware and utensils. Books, including ones for children, and board games were there for quieter moments. In the evenings, the many little lamps made the rooms feel cozy. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was clean, tidy, and furnished with quality pieces. We had a wonderful week. Whenever we had a question, the landlord got back to us quickly and easily. For the price, I’d give it 10 out of 10. We travel a lot and haven’t been this happy with a rental before. We’ve already booked for next fall.

For the past four years, we’ve spent our spring and ski holidays in this area. Haus Drei Turme always gives us a fantastic, clean apartment for the week.

Top A5 was a beautiful apartment for our two weeks in summer. Both the front and back have balconies, with a great view, so there’s always a spot in sun or shade. Everything felt thought through, from the good beds and spacious kitchen to the soundproofing. There’s no air conditioning, but opening the balcony doors on opposite sides lets a nice breeze through. Tschagguns center is close, and Schruns is an easy walk too. A Montafon Wildpas is handy for unlimited bus, train, and lift use. Menno and Kristel were really friendly and happy to help when we needed anything. We’d absolutely recommend it.

We had a pleasant week over Christmas, though we wouldn’t book Apartment A1 again. There were four of us. It’s below street level in the Drei Türme building, right beside the road to Schruns train station, which you can walk to. From the apartment you look across the valley toward Schruns, with a neighboring house directly beside the terrace. Breakfast isn’t offered. The place is modern and reasonably equipped, but at this price we expected more comfort and a better range of amenities. Dust in the corners and cobwebs on the ceilings took away from the otherwise decent impression. The bathroom and separate toilet ventilation didn’t work, their floors were uncomfortably cold, and there weren’t enough towel racks. We also had to pay extra for each additional hand or dish towel, and there were no towels for the bathroom or toilet sinks. The kitchen worked, but was basic, and we missed small things like scissors and a lemon squeezer. Only two dishwasher tablets were supplied, with more costing extra. The plastic entry doors didn’t shut properly and blew open in gusts. The wheeled dining chairs weren’t practical, and a smart TV would have been welcome, though there wasn’t one.
