The bungalows are really neat and thoughtfully laid out, and they're reasonably priced. The tent pitches felt a bit expensive. Staff are very friendly and seem to love 🚴. There's a lake with swimming and slides within walking distance next door, plus a restaurant at the campsite.

The cycling tent area is cramped between the road and the sanitary facilities, and often crowded, busy and noisy. The lights and a very efficient Dyson hand dryer can make it hard to sleep. The ground there is hard clay, so borrow a hammer for your pegs. When it rains, mud and puddles are everywhere. There isn't a safe place to charge bike batteries or power banks. The campsite charges 5 Euros per day! for each electrical outlet, which may suit campervans but not cyclists. For charging, the Tulln city tourist-info or botanical garden center are better options. The mobile home and van pitches are a decent size, on very compacted gravel beneath a thin layer of clay. The campground itself is nice. Reception staff are friendly, though a little stressed at peak times. The cleaning staff do an exceptional job, checking the sanitary facilities every few hours, and the toilets and showers are spotless. Quite a few campers use the four sinks in front of the toilets to brush their teeth and do laundry. Signs pointing out the laundry room and the sinks in the shower room might ease the queue. Wi-Fi is good and free. The small shop sells breakfast, though the coffee could be better. The restaurant menu has plenty of choice and the service is quick and attentive. Every table seems to have a reservation sign, but just ask anyway.

The bathrooms are great, but the cyclists' camping area has almost no grass. When it rains, it turns into a mud pit.

There was plenty of room on the pitches, with good shade from the trees and excellent sanitary facilities. Camping guests can enter the lake next door for free, and it's fun for the whole family. We also went to Vienna, which is easy to reach by car or public transport.

The nearby swimming pond has slides and free access, and Vienna is just a short train ride away, which makes this a nice choice for families and nature lovers. Donaupark Camping Tulln sits along the Danube, with well-spaced pitches and a friendly feel. The facilities are clean and there's a great restaurant.
