Hotel-Garni Jakober

Birgit looked after us so well during our summer hiking holiday. We had comfortable beds, a clean, well-kept room, a relaxing balcony, and a breakfast choice that suited us perfectly. The family hotel is near restaurants, and Birgit was happy to book tables when we asked. A free local bus pass gets you to good trekking spots and to cable cars that take you higher for splendid views. There's also a lovely, fairly flat river walk close by, alongside sparkling clear water. We'd definitely recommend staying here in such fantastic surroundings.

The staff were friendly and really helpful, even arranging to have my forgotten ski boots sent back to me by post. My room was clean and comfortable, with everything I needed, and the sauna was great after skiing. Jakober Hotel is right in the heart of Tux, close to the ski lift, the bus to Hinter-tux, and a supermarket, without much uphill walking. I had a great stay and highly recommend it for a convenient, enjoyable visit.

My wife and I spent a week here skiing on Hintertux glacier, and the spa in the basement was just what we needed after a day on the slopes. We stayed in an apartment with a large balcony and an amazing view. The whole place was well maintained and super clean, and breakfast was delicious. The hotel sits in the middle of Tux, just a few meters from the ski bus stop. The owner was polite and helpful, and check-in went without a hitch. Everything was perfect from arrival to departure. Thanks for a lovely vacation!
