They first told us the apartment was double booked and asked if we'd accept a smaller one in the same building. That one was double booked too when we arrived, and they dropped us off at a hostel.

We were in Vienna with our three children from December 8 to 10, 2022, and spent two nights here. The apartment is right in the heart of Floridsdorf, with the train station close by, and we found it excellent value for that short stay. We made memories at the Prater amusement park, in the Old Town, at St. Stephen's Cathedral, along the Old Danube, and at Hofburg Palace, the Spanish Riding School, and Schönbrunn Palace. ❤🤍❤

The price is a plus, and you can park for free. It's also fairly quiet, with the metro about a 10-15 minute walk away. The rest was disappointing. Cleanliness was only so-so, so we washed the dishes ourselves. There were no sheets, blankets, towels, or tea towels, so bring those with you. The bedroom mattress was awful, every movement from the person beside you could be felt, and you wondered when you'd fall off. The sofa bed was better. The bathroom is tiny and the toilet has no ventilation. The quality matches the low price. I was also disappointed that it was hard to communicate in English.

The roads were in good shape despite the overcast Vienna skies. Both the town and the city are interesting.
