Hotel Haydn

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Mariahilfer Straße is right there, with shops, cafes, and public transport close by. Mornings could be noisy, though. Some guests talked loudly in the hallway, perhaps while getting ready to go out for breakfast, and it wasn't great being woken up by that.

The staff were so kind and helpful, and breakfast was great. Really nice stay, I'd definitely recommend it :)))

The staff were warm and helpful, and the location on Mariahilfer Straße makes shopping and public transport easy. You can walk to many of Vienna's main sights in about 10 minutes. The hotel is a reasonable option if affordability and location matter more to you than luxury. The building also houses other companies, with reception on the 2nd floor and guest rooms higher up. There are two small, slow elevators, and one wasn't working. The road in front isn't open to cars, though there's a paid parking building 50 meters away that hotel guests use. Rooms were mostly clean but felt dated, and the hotel has only basic amenities with few modern updates. Breakfast seemed overpriced for what it offered. The room was no bigger than a typical living room, and its windows looked straight at the walls of the next building. Nearby coffee shops may be a better breakfast choice.

The location was amazing, and breakfast was decent, but the reception experience was pretty chaotic. We were first told breakfast cost 50€ per person, when it was actually 15€ each, and it took a while to get that cleared up. The receptionist couldn't tell us that breakfast started at 7:30 either. When we paid the correct amount, they counted three people instead of four, so we had to pay for one more. I wasn't sure the receptionist understood me. There are better places to stay in Vienna.
