We were six people staying at Imperium Residence for a long weekend in November 2021, and were extremely happy with the place. The Vienna State Opera was just around the corner, especially handy for us, and the old-town location also put the main sights, restaurants, cafes and shopping streets within a short walk. The apartment was beautifully furnished, spacious, comfortable and equipped with everything we could need. The beds were simply divine. Staff were welcoming and helpful, whether we needed information or other assistance. It was reassuring to have a local expert just a phone call away.

Alion and Jelena were terrific hosts. They were helpful with every request and gave us great recommendations. The location was ten-star, with public transport and the Historic District sights easy to reach, and plenty of gourmand food choices right outside. Our party of six spent two luxurious nights here and hated leaving. The decor and feel deserve ten stars too, combining the top-drawer class of the peak Austro-Hungarian Empire with Architectural Digest chic. They seemed to have anticipated everything travelers might need, from Viennese coffees and books to barware and bathroom fixtures and amenities. In less than six hours, it felt like home, though this in-town palace was built for the Schwarzburg family in 1771. I'd give this elegant property my highest recommendation and can't wait to return. I only regret that I didn't know AirBnB required reviews within two weeks. We were traveling for three weeks and tried hard to unplug, so I missed the chance to review sooner.
