Mercure Salzburg City

The free public transportation card was a nice bonus, and I really appreciated it. But the rooms weren’t well soundproofed. I could clearly hear other guests, especially doors opening and closing, and it affected both my stay and my sleep. The toiletries were very limited too, and felt insufficient compared with other hotels in the same category. Better sound insulation and more guest amenities would improve the experience.

Stefan deserves a special mention. He was kind, courteous, attentive, and went the extra mile to make sure everything was taken care of and that I felt welcome. The whole team made my stay pleasant. The hotel was clean, the atmosphere was great, and the overall service was outstanding. From arrival onward, everything went smoothly and professionally. I had an excellent stay and would happily return. Thanks to Stefan and the entire team.

Hannah, Alexander, and Stefan made my stay especially memorable. Their kindness, dedication, and professionalism went well beyond what I expected, and I’m grateful for the care they showed. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the common areas felt inviting and well cared for. Hotel Mercure Salzburg City has a warm atmosphere and a good location, close enough to walk to Salzburg’s main attractions while still peaceful enough to unwind after a full day out. I also appreciated the thoughtful design and spotless rooms. I had an outstanding visit and will absolutely return. I’d gladly recommend it to anyone visiting Salzburg.

The room was okay and the bed comfy, though I prefer a firmer pillow. The shower had the necessary equipment, but I don’t like having to shower in a bathtub. The lobby’s self-service shop for drinks was alright, but an actual bar would be much better. Breakfast was okay, but not worth 25eur. It was served in a temporary conference room with a terrible atmosphere, and the climate was set to tropical. Fine for one night, but I’d find a longer stay less comfortable.
