The surprise at checkout was a €20 fee for keeping our two suitcases for just a few hours. That felt out of place for a reasonably nice hotel, though the railway station offers much cheaper luggage storage. The room itself was comfortable and mostly clean, with a few stains on the carpet and curtains. The bed was good, and the shower and toiletries were nice. Although we faced a busy main road, the insulation kept out noise from traffic, nearby rooms, and the corridor. The modern hotel is convenient for Wien Hbf, with a short metro or tram ride into the centre.

We had to leave before breakfast, so the team packed us a lovely takeaway bag for the trip, including a vegetarian option for me. They also went out of their way to arrange an early check-in. Everyone we met was kind, helpful, and caring, and made everything easy. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, with a thoughtful layout and all we needed for a good night's sleep. MOOONS is right by the main train station, and its striking modern design has fun moon details and iconic round windows. Thanks to the whole team for a memorable stay.

The curtains were awkward to work, and you could hear the people in the next room struggling with theirs too. But the room was spotless, from the sheets to the bathroom. If you can get a train station view, the round window is just perfect for reading. I want one at home now! Skip daily housekeeping and you get a free drink.

Breakfast was good and perfectly satisfactory, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby and entrance are quite small, with hardly anywhere to sit while waiting. The exterior is attractive and easy to spot, and the location near the train station made getting around convenient. For our group of six, the hotel was good value, with clean, neatly decorated rooms. We knew in advance that ours had no windows, so that wasn't a problem, though the beds felt a little small. The arrival process could be more welcoming. The entrance is confusing at first, and guests are expected to self-check in after getting instructions. Only one staff member was on duty. It worked, but I can see it getting stressful if several people arrive together. We booked three rooms together but were split up: one was on Level 3, while the other two were on Level 1, one by the lift and one at the end of the corridor. We'd have preferred rooms closer together. Housekeeping was inconsistent too. We came back from sightseeing around 2:00 PM one day and our room still hadn't been serviced, even though we wanted to rest. We had to ask for it to be cleaned right away. The housekeeping staff on Level 3 were noticeably friendlier and more accommodating than those on Level 1.
