Vienna Stay Apartments Castellez 1020

The place was dusty and dirty, with mud, mold, and spider webs. We felt the conditions could be dangerous to our health. The owner didn't offer another place until after we'd already spent two more days in those conditions. More cleaning was done, but things were still the same. Communication from the owner was slow and unfriendly, with replies taking three hours, and we couldn't reach him by phone. We had to book other apartments and incurred extra costs, and we can't get a refund for this ridiculous stay.

The room was awful. Water problems kept leaving the room flooded, and the owner never came to fix anything during my stay. I asked for extra towels, but was told they'd cost 5 euros, even though I was staying for 4 nights and 5 days. I used towels to soak up the water, and the owner still didn't seem to care. Terrible.

The location was the one good thing, with metro and bus stations nearby. The kitchen was poorly equipped, the floor was so dusty that our socks picked it up just from walking, and the bathroom wasn't hygienic. There were no shower caps or basic shower amenities. I booked four nights and reported a shower problem on the first day. Since we'd already unpacked, we asked for extra towels and something to dry the water that had spread around the room instead of changing rooms. We were told it would be fixed the next day and that towels would be brought, but nobody came. When I followed up, they said room service would cost extra, without fixing the issue. They even blocked us from leaving a review on Booking. What a ridiculous way to handle it. A real disappointment.

Everything in the apartment worked well, from the beds and pillows to the bathroom and appliances, and it was spotless, comfortable, and fully equipped. Check-in went smoothly, and our three days there were easy. We liked the calm neighborhood, with a few shops, bakeries, and a Mc Donald nearby. Stefan's Platz was about a 20-minute walk away. We drove and paid extra for the parking beside the building, which felt worth every penny. Happy to recommend it.
