There are plenty of places to eat right outside, since the hotel doesn’t have a bar, cafe or dinner service. The hotel itself is small, and although it may look like there’s only one lift, there are actually two, with the second at the back of the corridor. It’s on a main street, Maria-hilfe-strasse, about 1 km from the Museums. The staff were friendly and breakfast excellent. I recommend it.

Our group had a nice enough stay, and the staff did their best, especially in the small breakfast room. They were excellent, very friendly and spoke good English. Lara was our favourite. The rooms had lots of space, but we missed having a bar on site. There were a few nearby, and we liked the Golden Harp for its friendly staff and good food and drinks. The hotel is close to an underground station, though we felt we needed to travel to get to the main attractions.

Elissa at reception was extremely sweet, helpful and professional, and we liked the rooms. The location is excellent, with everything around you. I’d probably return because the hotel is good and so well placed, but the booking and room arrangements need work. We booked two rooms together, but one could be served by one elevator while the other was on the opposite side of the hotel with a different elevator. That’s inconvenient, especially for families who need their rooms close together. There was also overbooking. We were told our rooms had been “upgraded,” but when we didn’t like the new room and asked to go back to what we’d booked, the hotel said it was fully booked and overbooked. That felt like poor management and reservation organization.

Staff were very polite, and the rooms were good. You can walk around easily, so the central location is the main reason to stay here. If that’s what you need, this is your place. For a proper hotel experience, I’d look elsewhere. I’d skip breakfast and eat out, since there are lots of nicer options nearby.
