The night manager was easily the highlight of our stay. He was welcoming, funny, and helpful with advice on what to see in Vienna. He joked with us about being Australian and was always up for a friendly chat. We'd booked the room just 10 minutes before leaving for the airport, and in our rush we missed that the toilet was shared. When we got to reception feeling stressed, he asked straight away if we'd realised, which makes me think it comes up often. We chose to upgrade so we wouldn't have to share. The three-bed room had armchairs, a coffee table, desk and chair, coffee machine, wardrobe, in-room safe, and hairdryer. With the upgrade, we had a fully working bathroom too. Cleanliness was satisfactory, nothing was out of place. The radiator stayed stone cold, but the room wasn't freezing, and extra blankets were available. Breakfast was very simple continental food, but nourishing, and the service staff offered coffee. They can accommodate dietary needs, but need advance notice. It's very central, and we walked almost everywhere. There's also a metro station close by that connects efficiently to the rest of the city. I'd absolutely stay again. Solid accommodation for the price.

The only upsides were the location and friendly staff. The rooms were small and extremely dated, and the bathroom and shower were tiny. Even with the mattress topper they provided, the bed was rock hard. I barely slept.

I had a wonderful stay at this centrally located pension in Vienna. Each morning's breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the reception staff were so warm, friendly, and helpful. Their kindness really made me feel welcome. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting Vienna.

The staff were the real highlight. The receptionist was professional, kind, and welcoming, found the best fit for our needs, and always had good tips on places to visit and how to get around. Everyone else was polite and helpful too. My daughter and I are Italian, we were struggling with German but fascinated by it, and we wish you all the best! We had a great stay at this hotel in Austria. The central location made getting around easy, and the price felt right for what we got. Our room was spacious and very clean, with large windows bringing in lots of natural light and plenty of room for luggage. A solid, comfortable stay without hassle.

It was 34 degrees celsius in Wien, which is pretty rare, and having AC in the room would have been nice. At least there was a table fan. The location was 5/5, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was good and normal. Parking in the carage below cost 39€/24h.
