The village is tiny and quiet, so we drove to the next town for shopping. There’s a hotel restaurant nearby, but little else around. That suited us well: our apartment had a fantastic valley view, and the place was peaceful. It was spotless and furnished with a lovely local feel. We had all the kitchenware we needed, plus free Wi-Fi, an elevator, and plenty of parking, even for a larger vehicle. The elevator is wheelchair accessible. Fresh rolls could be brought to the door each morning for a small fee. The hostess was very friendly, and booking and payment were easy. We stayed a week and wished we could have stayed longer. Great value, and we’d happily return.

From the guesthouse balcony, we could watch rural scenes and look toward the entrance to Wildermieming. We also had a view of the house of the Bergdoktor, where several of its "Stafels" were filmed. It made a handy base for trips to Innsbruck and the surrounding area, with Italy close by too. Our electric car stayed charged thanks to a good charging station, including for the drive home. We lacked nothing during our stay, and can’t think of anything that was missing.

The owner and her husband were friendly and easy to reach, and she shared useful ideas for excursions. She also looked after the lovely flowers and kept the property in great shape. The apartment itself was quiet, bright, and thoughtfully laid out, with a balcony and open views. Everything was exceptionally clean, the kitchen had loads of equipment, and the beds were comfortable. They also deliver bread, eggs, and milk. Highly recommended.
