Zauscherhof

It’s a peaceful, clean, cozy place, and the host family is always ready to help. There’s plenty for children to do, from seeing the cows, donkeys, and rabbits on the farm to playing with the adorable dogs and running around in the grass. Perfect for families, especially those with kids. I’d definitely return. Manuela and Hubert, we already miss your girls, your dogs, and all the other animals! 😘

Evening mood in Mieming.

The Zauscher family are so genuine and friendly that you feel at home straight away. The apartments are new, spacious, spotlessly clean, and wheelchair accessible. The kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped, the bed is comfortable, and I’d want a balcony. Around the farm you’ll find cows, a tractor, farm dogs, homemade jam, and medicinal herbs. Isabella Zauscher is a certified herbalist, and the Mieming Plateau gets plenty of sunshine. A farm holiday at its best. Highly recommended!

The farm is in the middle of a working agricultural area, so the Zauscher family and neighboring farmers are busy at it all the time. If you enjoy country life, this is the place for you. We had a wonderful first holiday with our 1 1/2-year-old daughter, and Zauscherhof was every bit as child-friendly as we’d been told. The whole family, both Zauscher Sr. and Zauscher Jr., welcomed us so warmly that we felt like long-time regulars. Mrs. Zauscher Jr. took us straight to our room, and the holiday apartment was a lovely surprise. It blends a traditional Austrian farm with modern equipment, and everything we needed was there and in excellent condition. We could also bring our two dogs, who were warmly welcomed and readily accepted by the farm dogs, Rex and Milow. Both were wonderful, relaxed dogs. Milow is an active farm dog who watches over the house, people, and livestock. Guests can explore the whole farm, including the cowshed and farm garden, which is especially nice for the little ones. There are rabbits, chickens, cows, donkeys, a trampoline, climbing frame, swings, and sandbox. Simply fantastic. Zauscher Farm is definitely worth visiting if you want a farm holiday.
