The homemade breakfast items, especially the Müsli and jam, were a big plus, and there was enough choice even for picky eaters. My colleagues and I needed a hotel around Bregenz during a late business trip, after failing to find rooms in the city. We called Sternen Hotel, and the employee on the phone was professional and offered us a couple of rooms at a decent price. The arrangements were made quickly; when we arrived, the lady we'd spoken with welcomed us and checked us in professionally. She also told us about several services the hotel offers. By car, it's barely 8 minutes from the center of Bregenz. The room was perfectly clean, including the bathroom, and had plenty of luggage space, several closets, and a safe. That made our short stay pleasant. I was very happy with the staff's service, and hope the owner knows how valuable they are. I'll definitely return to Sternen Hotel when I'm in or around Bregenz.

The breakfast buffet was really good, and there was a cozy sauna plus a secure place to lock up bikes. We got the hotel at an amazing price, though maybe we were just lucky.

The location was great, but the management and communication weren't so good. It was around 33°C when we arrived, and the AC wasn't working. At reception, we asked if there was a problem and were told it was out throughout the whole building. With no air circulating, sleeping overnight was very unpleasant. We also had to ask for room service because nobody came to clean the room.

Friendly staff, a clean and quiet room, and everything worked since it was modern. It's acceptable if all you need is a place in the area to sleep and shower, but the price felt too high for what you get. The single bed was narrow, there was no complimentary water or even a mini bar, and there was no WiFi in the room. No WiFi, in 2017?

The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff very helpful, and breakfast and WiFi were free. I'd stay here again.
