I booked after seeing the rooms on booking.com, but the room I received was old and outdated, unlike the pictures the hotel had shared. It was at the far end of the hotel, around 300 meters from reception. The phone didn’t work, so I had to walk to reception whenever I needed anything. A very bad experience overall.

The rooms were clean and well kept, and the front desk staff, both men and women, were very kind and helpful. The area was peaceful and quiet, ideal for a relaxing getaway, and the view was breathtaking to wake up to. I highly recommend this place.

We were welcomed by very friendly reception staff, and got a room with a lovely view of the hotel pool. The whole place was very clean, which made us comfortable right away. The mattress was a bit worn and could be uncomfortable for some, though it worked for us. Breakfast was decent, nothing fancy but enough to start the day. The location isn’t central, but essentials like a supermarket, bank, ATM, and restaurants are nearby. A pleasant stay overall.

The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the lake and about half an hour from the center, along a pleasant route overlooking the water. I loved the breakfast, and the Superior Spa room was elegant and clean, with a mountain-view balcony and a nice bathtub. I didn’t use the spa or pool, so I can’t comment on those. I first found the hotel four years ago because of its rare Porsche rental service. Back then I rented a Boxster Spyder, a splendid and rare model, without staying at the hotel. Since they often change the cars, I came back last weekend to rent a 911 Turbo S and booked two nights, planning to drive the famous Grossglockner High Alpine Road.
