Our two-person room had no internet, it was cold and smelled odd, and the pillows were pretty bad. It was also quite expensive for one night. All in all, I’d only recommend it as a very last resort.

There are plenty of rooms to choose from, and the owners are very friendly and helpful. Zell lake is within walking distance, making this a great place for a holiday.

Having the whole house to ourselves means our group of around 40 students can plan the days however we like. The owners make everything easy too, from sorting out arrival and departure times to answering other questions, and they're really friendly. There are plenty of beds, a big shared dining room and a spacious kitchen with all the equipment we need. The house has been consistently well furnished and has made a great impression each time we've visited over the past few years. We're coming back for our fourth winter stay, and already looking forward to next December! :)

The rooms are fine, though a few of the beds could do with replacing. Even so, this house works really well for a group of friends like ours, and we're definitely coming back. It's in a beautiful spot with a nice dining area and a roomy kitchen. This was our second fantastic weekend at Haus am See with the Staesmonitors from Mol :-)!
