Christine, Klaus and the team made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived for our ski trip at the end of January. The hotel has an easy location for getting to the slopes, with a warm, relaxed atmosphere, comfortable spotless rooms and lovely mountain views. Dinner and wine were excellent each day, with plenty of variety, and it was a relaxing place to come back to after skiing. The hospitality really stood out, the team cared about their guests and worked hard to make the holiday memorable. We had a wonderful time and will return. After a day on the slopes, the heated outdoor pool, sauna and spa were wonderful. The hotel is ski in ski out, with ski hire and lift passes arranged and fitted on site. It’s also about five minutes on foot into Zell am See, and local transport is frequent and easy. This is a warm, friendly family-run place, and the staff are attentive and aim to meet your needs. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The food has a great selection, and there are afternoon snacks too.

The daily paper with the weather and hotel news was a lovely touch, and getting around was easy with the ski shop in the hotel and ski in access. The coach transfer from Salzburg was only 1.5 hours, which was manageable. We loved the midweek band, plus the food, staff, hotel and spa were all amazing. Thanks so much for the best week. We’ll be back 😊

A warm, very clean family-run hotel with a lovely bar, restaurant, spa and ski shop with a boot room. They’re attentive to what you need. Having the ski shop right there is convenient, and the bus stop for the slopes is directly across the road. It’s about five minutes by bus to the slopes.

We were a group of 12, six adults and six kids, and all had a wonderful time at Hotel Stadt Wien. The service was fantastic and the food was great. Thanks to Klaus and his team, we’ll definitely be back!
