The bed was comfortable and the room had what I needed, but it felt tired. At first glance it looked clean, then the grime became more noticeable the closer I looked, especially in the bathroom.

After three years living here, I can say it has been the worst residential experience I’ve had. I’m relieved to be leaving, and I’d urge anyone considering a move here to think twice. The price feels ridiculous for what residents get, with strata rates comparable to major city hotels and no value to show for it. Security is a serious concern. It’s easy for anyone to enter and wander the halls, and there have been repeated episodes of people shouting in hallways or seeming under the influence of drugs in common areas. Nothing meaningful seems to happen in response. Common spaces are often dirty and poorly maintained, alarms keep going off without a clear reason, and the parking options are inadequate and frustrating. Staff dealings have been shocking. They’re often rude, dismissive and immature, answering concerns with attitude and contradiction instead of respect or competence. Lee at reception has been especially unpleasant. Interactions with him felt hostile, as though residents were an inconvenience, and he would yell at residents or visitors if he thought his authority was being challenged. It’s hard to understand how someone in a front-facing job behaves that way. The committee members have been condescending and disorganised, and seemed out of their depth while making decisions that affect residents. I met with them about several problems I’d faced, but it was a waste of time. They were closed-minded and disrespectful, as if their minds were already made up. Some didn’t even look at me while I spoke. It felt insulting and showed little basic courtesy or professionalism. Awful place. I’ll never return.

We found the area lovely, with shops nearby for groceries if you’d rather not eat out. Our room had everything we needed, including an oven, microwave, stove and fridge, and the staff were friendly and helpful whenever we asked for something. Driving to Adelaide CBD took 20 minutes, or it’s a 58 minute walk. I enjoyed walking around and exploring the place on foot.

The staff were so friendly and gave spot-on suggestions for places to eat nearby. I hadn’t realised there was no restaurant when I booked, so that advice helped. They also pointed out when the supermarket closes. Thanks so much!
