Ensenada Motor Inn and Suites

Cleanliness, a comfortable bed, and plenty of pillows are what I look for, and the motel passed easily. The room had tea, coffee, biscuits, a microwave, kettle, and TV, plus lots of storage, an ironing board, and even an umbrella. The bathroom was clean, with towels and toiletries supplied daily. Housekeeping were brilliant, friendly, and kept everything very clean. Can't fault our stay. I'll definitely come back and recommend the motel.

Sam at the front desk was such a bright spot during our time in Glenelg. He was helpful and cheerful every time we saw him, and really lifted our day. The staff are amazing, and the rooms are more than comfortable. This little hotel is a gem, just a short hop from the beach and a two-minute walk to the middle of everything. Even so, it's tucked away from the bustle of Mosely Square and the screaming kids on the beach.

The room was very clean and quiet, with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom, though it was small. The location is ideal, just steps from Moseley Square, the shops, restaurants, and beach. The minibar was overstocked, but everything in it was too expensive for me to use. There were tea and coffee supplies, cups, glasses, and plates, but no cutlery or tea towel. I had to stir my tea with my finger. The kettle was too big to fit under the vanity tap, so I had to fill it using the shower. Little things like these make or break a stay. Would I come back? No.

The sheets were clean, but the towels smelled sour, and I didn't sleep well. The bed bounced a lot, its springs felt a bit pokey, and the pillows were like slim bricks. Since the place is going to be demolished, it feels like care has slipped. The bin by the back stairs wasn't emptied during our week there, and the windows and curtains could use a wash. They may not bother.
