We chose this place for the budget price, city proximity and parking, but on arrival were told there was no parking available. We were directed to street parking and told we’d just need to move the car every two hours. The room was dirty, with a used q-tip in the wardrobe and stained bedsheets. Noisy upstairs neighbours stomped and yelled at each other, waking us several times through the night. Staff didn’t resolve it, and it carried on until 730 the next morning. Dirty, noisy and overpriced for what we got. 100% wouldn’t recommend.

The bathroom flooded one night, the TVs didn’t work, and the mattress sagged so badly it felt like sleeping in a canoe. The rooms and public areas were dirty, and clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. I found old face masks behind the bed, with stained carpet and rubbish on the floor.

We only stayed because there wasn’t time to book somewhere else. For $110 a night, this was absolutely filthy, the worst stay ever. Carpets hadn’t been vacuumed, surfaces weren’t wiped, and there was dust, hair everywhere and blood on the bathroom vanity. I found a dirty cup under the bed. The room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests, and the shared kitchen was filthy too. The blankets were dirty, although the sheets were clean. There was no TV remote, no cups or complimentary milk, and the air conditioner dripped onto the carpet. Reception didn’t tell us on arrival they were taking a $100 deposit for the key and remote, or that it would take 5days to be out back into our account. They refunded 30% because we had to stay in this hell hole, but the receptionist couldn’t guarantee the money already paid would be returned straight away, so we had no extra money to go elsewhere. Doesn’t even deserve one star, and I’ll definitely be taking this further.

The booking was well organised, with all the details for checking in and out even though nobody was on site. The room was clean, comfortable and very cheap, and had everything I needed: a fridge, washing machine, hair dryer and iron. I also had my own balcony where we could have a cigarette. There was a kettle and bottled water for tea and coffee, but no milk. Definitely would stay again, 10 out of 10 for this stay :)

We had no hot water at all for a shower, not even warm. And the double bed was two single mattresses pushed together, which was really uncomfortable. Such a disappointment. It spoiled a special day in Adelaide.
