Great Ocean Road Glamping - BIG4 Aireys Inlet

The grounds were beautifully maintained, the sites spacious and well laid out, and the amenities blocks stayed spotless the whole time. It was easy to back the caravan into our site, so setup was a breeze. Staff were welcoming and accommodating from check-in onwards. We had a brilliant weekend and will definitely be back.

Birdlife around the park was lovely, and we had a great stay in the area. Our pitch was good and level, the small kitchen had everything we needed, and the shower was amazing. Staff welcomed us warmly and shared lots of local recommendations. We also liked that, if you arrive after office hours without a booking, there’s a map on the door showing available pitches. We’ve been caught before in Australia by places not letting you turn up after 6pm without a booking, so that was great.

After two days walking from Torquay, I was so glad to take a bark hut instead of another night in my tent. The cabin was spotless and stocked with everything, and the staff were friendly and informative on arrival. The park facilities are in great condition, and you can tell the owners take pride in the place. There’s even a communal fire pit. My favourite thing was being just a two-minute walk across the road from the local top shops, including a great general store, bottle shop, a couple of restaurants and a cafe. Thanks for a fabulous stay.

I was here for the Surf Coast Trail race, and the location was ideal for participants or anyone exploring the Great Ocean Rd area. The grounds and service were fantastic, with clean, usable amenities. I got professional service from the start and was offered an upgrade. My room was my campsite.
