I was there for 19 nights on a work trip to Alice, and had a very comfortable, positive stay. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with daily cleaning, though sometimes as early as 8am and sometimes as late as 4:30pm. Staff were friendly. The hotel felt safe, and the secure gated parking was a real plus. The property looks very nice, with a large lobby, good restaurants, and well-kept gardens in a quiet spot not far from town. Saltbush and Hanuman were both quite good. I noticed there was no complimentary water in the fridge, but that didn’t bother me because there was a sink and tap. The bathroom ventilation could have been better: after a shower it got very wet and took a long time to air out and dry. Those were minor issues, and I’d definitely stay again.

The pool was fantastic, and the scenery around the place is beautiful. It’s in a lovely part of Alice Springs, within walking distance of town. My room was lovely and cleaned daily, and the staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast wasn’t amazing, but dinner was great. I’d recommend it.

The staff made a strong impression, from the breakfast restaurant to housekeeping and the front desk. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and I felt very safe during my stay. The beds were cosy and comfortable, and the large rooms had lovely decor and were extremely clean. I had a lovely room on level 3 overlooking the pool at the Hilton in Alice Springs. It seemed recently renovated, though I’m not sure the bathrooms were, and they were still in very good condition. The pool area and exterior look a little dated, but are well kept. This was my second time in alice but first at the hilton, and I thought the hotel was fantastic overall.

We stayed at Doubletree Alice Springs for two separate nights, March 31 and April 04, and both were excellent. The room was pleasant and the facilities very good, but it was the front desk team that made the stay memorable. From our first welcome through checkout, every staff member we dealt with was friendly, welcoming, and smoothly efficient. There were too many names to list. Good facilities are nice, but the staff are what make a hotel. Doubletree Alice Springs certainly did that for us. If you’re considering a stay in Alice Springs, just book the Doubletree.

It’s a quiet place in the evening, with no noise from town, and the pool was great. The beds are really comfy, and the staff are lovely and very helpful. We did miss having a toaster or microwave in the room. I know that comes down to checking the facilities, and I understand they’d prefer guests to eat at the restaurants, but sometimes you just want toast or to heat leftovers from the night before. The walk from the car park to the room can also be a bit long, something to keep in mind if you’re not very able bodied. Apart from those things, it was a great place to stay.
