We arrived later than planned at Nightcap at Atherton, and the staff went out of their way to help. Since I have coeliac disease and it was late, the manager on duty arranged for the kitchen to make us bangers and mash, then brought it to our door. Everyone provided excellent service.

The room was clean and thoughtfully set up, and the very comfortable bed made for a good night's sleep. Dinner was the letdown: the pub food was poor and service was slow, so I'd eat somewhere else.

These roomy, self-contained rooms are part of a pub, with a bistro, pub and parking at the rear. Everything was clean. The main road brings some traffic noise.

I've stayed in plenty of places for work, and these are the most comfortable beds I've come across. On this visit, though, there were no tissues or face washer, and breakfast wasn't available even though it was part of the deal. Room 22 has a dual setup but just one AC, and it didn't reach the main bedroom. The Tim Tams were a nice touch, but they'd melted. Parking is limited for people travelling.

The room was incredibly quiet even though it's above the pub, and the staff were friendly. Downstairs, the bistro has delicious meals and a good range of tap beers. Our room was spacious and clean, with a modern bathroom and a lovely big shower. The bed might be the most comfortable one we've slept in. We'd stay here again next time we're in Atherton.
