We loved being able to leave the car parked for a couple of days. The Rising Sun is an easy walk for a meal or drinks, and there are wineries and coffee shops nearby too. Even on freezing days, we could sit outside in the sun with coffee and take it easy. Inside, the cottage was just as gorgeous as it looked online. The fire kept it warm, and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast and the cheese platter were generous enough for both mornings and evenings. I really enjoyed our break at Adagio in Auburn.

Melissa made our weekend feel wonderfully relaxing, and it had been years since we'd had one like it. We could settle in by the fireplace with a glass or two and the supplied cheese platter. The bed was huge and so comfortable. Cafes, places to eat and the pub are only a short walk away. Bike hire is across the road, right by the Riesling Trail, and our bikes were even delivered to Adagio. Such great service!

Melissa was a fantastic host, keeping in touch and sharing really good suggestions for places to eat. The stay had everything we needed, plus some lovely thoughtful touches. A great spot to switch off, relax and just be in the moment.

I came away from this break feeling so grateful. It was the best little escape from all the madness, and the owner made us feel welcome even months before we arrived. She's so lovely and easy to get along with. The cottage felt like home as soon as we walked in, and it looks just like the photos. Breakfast and the platters were just the right amount, and the fire heated the place up beautifully. And that bed! So cozy, and the electric blanket warmed the sheets quickly. I already miss it. Thanks Mel for making such an amazing place! 🙂 xx It's perfectly placed for cafes, restaurants and wineries, and I'd definitely come back.

The fresh flowers and decor made the cottage feel lovely, and Melissa was friendly and very helpful. She'd thought of everything. The bed was comfortable and supportive, with several pillow options, and breakfast provisions were generous, with delicious sweet treats too. It's a beautifully restored cottage tucked into a secluded garden. The place was so quiet and peaceful.
