The animals were a real highlight: we could pet the sheep, kangaroos, and cows, and they were all very friendly. Quagmire the emu even wandered by the cabin’s balcony, which looks over the valley. Dave and Julie clearly put a lot of heart into caring for the animals, most of them rescues. The cabin itself is beautiful and peaceful, close to town, with a lovely view. Amenities were excellent, including a great bathroom, full kitchen with stovetop, and a BBQ on the balcony. There’s no Wi-Fi, but we were happy to disconnect; the DVD player and movie selection provided some entertainment.

A great little getaway for switching off and relaxing. Julie and Dave were accommodating and very helpful. Their care for the rescue animals is remarkable, and it was nice to walk among the friendly sheep, kangaroos, bulls, ducks, emu, and chickens.

Just right for two, this clean, tidy chalet had everything we needed. The views over the pasture to the rolling hills were fantastic.

Farm and wild animals come through the area, with loads of birds and amazing scenery. The hilltop chalet was cosy, quiet, and private, with a serene Outlook and all the amenities. The hosts were friendly, and it was exceptionally clean, warm, and comfortable. We loved it.

We stayed at Balingup highview chalets for my girlfriend’s birthday, and the cosy chalet and surroundings were perfect for our getaway. The animals were a lovely bonus, especially the emus, sheep, cows, kangaroos, and alpacas. Thank you for being so hospitable and helping make Heidi's birthday memorable. We’re already thinking about when to return, and we’ll recommend the place to our friends. Highly recommend.
